Observing Events

“Observing Outdoors with Telescopes”, are live nighttime and daytime solar outdoor programs utilizing our powerful telescopes and outdoor exhibits at the observatory. They involve constellation identification, sky lore, observational astronomy and explore the beauty and majesty of the heavens.

These events are presented both here at the observatory and on location for “away” groups. They are geared for a variety of different groups and organizations including but not limited to universities, schools, museums, science centers, observatories, aviation firms, conferences, scout groups, various civic organizations, churches and other faith based organizations.
